BUS-eum In Decorah July 7

Do you love history?  A unique museum experience is coming to Decorah July 7.

TRACES Center for History and Culture presents the “BUS-eum,” a  traveling mobile museum on a retrofitted bus featuring five unique American history exhibits from the era of 1914-1939 and spotlights Midwest connections.  Exhibits include: Prohibition era bootlegging, Farmer-led social unrest during the Great Depression, the flu pandemic of 1918, and other era-specific topics. See this unique take on bringing history to life with original artifacts: photos, documents, letters, and hear in-depth knowledge from a university professor as your guide.

The “BUS-eum” will be viewable at the Decorah Genealogy Association located at Heivly St across from the Farmers Market, Decorah from noon-7PM on Wednesday, July 7th.
