Co-authors Doug Newhoff and Craig Sesker will be in Decorah Wednesday, Sept. 8 to promote their new book, “Home Sweet Dome,” which shares the stories of Iowa’s best high school football programs during the playoff era.

The book includes a terrific chapter about the Decorah High School program, and features interviews with Vikings greats Josey Jewell, Dick Wuest, Jason Olejniczak and Bill Post. Decorah is one of 34 programs in the 560-page, 44-chapter book, which also highlights a handful of individuals whose teams didn’t participate in the UNI-Dome playoffs.

Wednesday’s book signing event will take place from 5-7 p.m. at T-Bocks. “Home Sweet Dome” can also be purchased online at www.domeplayoffs.com or by mailing a check for $35 to Home Sweet Dome, 5407 Glacier Dr., Cedar Falls, IA., 50613.
